Cookiesandstorage.

This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics that follow you from site to site. It does not load anything from other companies’ servers, including fonts.

Browsing this website sets no cookies at all.

If you choose a language, this website remembers your choice in your browser's own storage — not a cookie — so the site opens in that language next time. It never leaves your device.

When you sign in to Stillwell to create or keep a remembrance, we set one essential cookie that keeps you signed in. It holds no information about you beyond your session, is not readable by other websites, and ends when you sign out [or after a set period — to confirm]. Stillwell cannot work without it, so it does not need your consent.

When someone scans a plaque, we count the visit without any cookie, and without keeping the visitor’s IP address — only the time and an approximate location no finer than the city.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser’s settings. Blocking the sign-in cookie will stop you from signing in, but you can still visit remembrances.

If we ever add a cookie that is not essential, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
